About us

We are a small company that has been distributing ecological products in Mallorca since 2015.

Dear customers, we are Teo and Manel, the founders of Va De Bio. Our intention is to provide the best outlet for the products of our local producers and also to offer organic certified, fresh, dried, and processed products from outside Mallorca.

We are a young company; our objective is to offer a flexible service that is tailored to each type of client.

Our mission is to be a benchmark company in Mallorca for customers seeking the freshest, highest-quality organic products, while also offering exceptional customer service and a seamless online shopping experience.

We also sell directly at our stall in the Olivar market in Palma from Tuesday to Saturday, 8 am to 2 pm, and on Saturdays at the Alaró market.

We distribute to:

How does bio come about?

In 2008, we created, with the farms of Binifela, Son Durí and —later— Son Cànaves, the Cooperative This is Life . We began working with various consumer groups in various places on the island, making closed boxes to raise awareness about the consumption of organic and local products.

During the first few years we only worked with this option, until at the end of 2010 we started working in the organic market of Palma. There we realised that people preferred to buy by choosing their own products, which is why we decided to start offering a wider variety of products and providing a professional service to shops and restaurants on the island.

Given the high demand, we decided to create Va de Bio , which is responsible for distributing the co-operative's production and other organic products that our customers request.

Va de Bio also has a stall every Saturday at the Plaça d’Alaró market, offering a wide variety of fresh, dried and processed products to locals and visitors.

From September 2019, Va de Bio opens a stall at the Mercat de l’Olivar in Palma.
